Sonia Iodice

Sonia Iodice taught for more than twenty years at secondary level before turning to the profession of celebrant. She is certified as a celebrant by Ceremoniae, sits on the committee of the Association romande des célébrants professionnels (ACOR) and holds a Master en Lettres from the Université de Genève. Under the name Léman Cérémonies she designs secular ceremonies for funerals, unions, vow renewals and the welcoming of children. She also accompanies families affected by perinatal bereavement. Her work is based on listening to the story of the people who engage her, which she then puts into writing and afterwards into spoken words. The form, place and words of the ceremony are decided with the people concerned, according to their values. She can also officiate in Spanish, Italian and English.
