Marcel Reding (Abt Reding)

Marcel Reding appears as Zen Meister Reding and works as an independent funeral and farewell speaker for non-denominational burials and funeral ceremonies. His ceremonies combine elements of Zen with Christian wisdom and monastic tradition. Relatives of all faiths are welcome, and on request he includes symbols and rituals from different traditions. He designs farewells at the cemetery, memorial ceremonies in a small circle and ceremonies at which the ashes are scattered in the mountains, by the lake or in the woods. His rituals include a phoenix ritual with incense and sandalwood as well as a fire ceremony. In addition to the funeral speech he offers bereavement support.
