Erika Goergen

Erika Goergen has conducted secular funeral ceremonies since 2012 and works throughout Switzerland. A psychologist with a diploma from the IAP in Zurich, now ZHAW, she is also a mediator. She works in German, Swiss German, French, Italian and English. She sees the ceremony as a simple time of reflection and sharing among family, friends and loved ones. Her service begins with a thorough preliminary conversation with the relatives. She then takes care of preparing, organising and designing the ceremony at the chosen location, and on request also at the cemetery. Finally, the relatives receive the text of the ceremony in writing, as a keepsake of the day.
