Carmen Jucker is a funeral celebrant and offers funeral speeches that do without religious content. Her service is aimed at people to whom church and Bible give no comfort. In a joint conversation with the relatives she asks who the deceased person was, how and where they lived and what mattered to them. What she learns in the process flows into the speech. The service includes a detailed preliminary conversation and the funeral speech itself. The location of the ceremony and further elements such as music, singing or contributions from relatives are decided and organised by the clients. Additional wishes can be discussed. Carmen Jucker speaks written German and Zurich dialect. According to her website, she does not accept commissions from March to mid-June.
