Astrid Steiner

Astrid Steiner is a ceremony leader and freelance grief companion. She creates funeral ceremonies that are meant to suit the life of the person who has died; the focus is on their nature and personality, not on religion. She develops the farewell ceremony together with the relatives, in terms of both content and location. She points out that after a cremation in Switzerland people may choose freely where the ashes are interred or scattered, for example in nature, in their own garden or in a cemetery. Alongside the ceremonies she offers individual grief support and assists people who wish to plan their own farewell ahead and record their wishes.
